Living with unpredictable illness takes a toll, even on good days.

You make plans without knowing how you'll feel tomorrow. You calculate how much energy something will take. And when a flare changes everything, you feel guilty about letting people down.
The hardest part isn't always the symptoms. Sometimes it's the worry, the constant adjustments, and feeling that your own needs have to wait.
You can't always control your next flare. But you can learn to respond to yourself with more compassion, even when life is uncertain.

Meet Vidhi Sadana

Consultant Yoga Therapist| NHS Researcher| Founder of Wellbeeing

I've lived with autoimmune illness for over 25 years, so I understand what it's like to make plans without knowing how your body will feel tomorrow.
For over 15 years, I've supported more than 2,000 people through yoga therapy, combining yoga psychology, compassionate enquiry and practical mind-body approaches.
My work includes published first in the UK NHS research on individualised yoga therapy for people living with rheumatoid arthritis, exploring improvements in pain, anxiety and quality of life.
I believe that while we cannot always control the unpredictability of illness, we can learn to respond to ourselves with greater compassion and make choices that better support our lives.

The worry doesn't stop when the flare does.

Even your good days can come with the fear of what tomorrow might bring.

Living with autoimmune illness means constantly calculating what you can manage, worrying about letting others down, and leaving little room for your own needs.
